see Gulls

No recent reports of the Mediterranean Gull pair from Llyn Coed y Dinas, but no shortage of young Black-headed Gulls there as Mark Wilson's pic shows

    My count was (at least) 206 young birds fledged. However there were also 62 adults still sitting, having presumably lost their first clutch. Mark's photo illustrates the huge variation in the plumage as they grow.
