Tree Sparrow now a regular visitor to the garden - on and around the feeders every 30 mins or so. Tends to suggest they've separated from the main population up near Bishop's Moat and may be hanging around down here to breed. Hope that's the case - would be nice to have some youngsters in the garden!
Also as an aside, have sold a few Slavonian (Horned) Grebe prints to the owner of a let/BnB by Loch Ruthven in the Highlands - one of the places in Scotland where they breed. So if you happen to go up there you may see this image (taken at a special wee spot near Blonduos in Iceland)
Beautiful shot of the Tree Sparrow. Excellent news that you’ve sold some Grebe prints, whenever I’ve been to Loch Ruthven they are always down the far end.
ReplyDeleteCheers Brian - a place I've never been
ReplyDeleteWell done.
