Waxwings Red Bank, Welshpool
The three Waxwing were back early this morning. Ive shown the leg rings enlarged but as the images are taken straight off my ipad they not great. Only one bird was ringed. If I get a chance i will try to get the number on the metal ring. The blue and red rings can be seen clearly.

I think this was ringed on Orkney recently by Alan Leitch - will check and report back
ReplyDeleteApparently there should be another ring above the Black ring on the left leg. They have narrowed it down to 1 of 7 birds but more photos allowing for it to be aged and or sexed could narrow it down further
