Dipper @ Guilsfield
(via Chris Hurrell) 8.20 this morning - just pouring the breakfast tea and a dipper appears down in the Guilsfield Brook not 3 yards from the window. Stayed about 2 - 3 mins. feeding, then flew off down stream. Been here seven years and this is the first sighting. At 8.45 just doing the washing up and all the birds on and around the feeders squark and scatter - sparrowhawk comes streaking and twisting through, going downstream. Wow this must be my lucky day.
