Granllyn Pool, Guilsfield
Just visited this Woodland Trust reserve for first time. Could be quite interesting at times, provided they can keep the kids on bikes out, its quite doggy in places where the've been.
The pool produced the usual Mallard, Coot and Moorhen.Adjoining properties have feeders up and at least 3 Brambling were showing and the same number of Siskin.
A small hide is available which provides a reasonable view over a narrow stretch of water.
This reserve has the potential for producing interesting species, especially Lesser Spotted WP on or near the feeders, as they do in other parts of Guilsfield.
