L/Coed

called in for a short time this morning, drake Pintail showing well on the centre right of the pool.Good number of lapwings also there, I counted 90+. Also1 Goosander(f), 1 Pochard(m), Only 7 Teal this morning, there numbers seem to be varying quite a lot at the moment and 17 Wigeon,Plus the usual birds that we see there.

Paid a short visit to Polemere this afternoon,I know its just off our patch but it's always good to know whats about, Sightings where:- 62 Wigeon, 44 Teal, 127 Mallard, 17 Coots, 2 Morhen, 2 Lapwings and one domestic goose, the only goose on show, of late there have been large numbers of greylags there.In the region of 300 to 400 with quite a few pinkfooted and Barnacle geese mixed in,

    Interesting that so many geese are at Polemere
