Dolydd Hafren
This morning at Dolydd Hafren (along with John M) we had good views of an osprey being mobbed by crows. In the first field there were circa 200 linnet and 4 stock doves. From the second hide 2 whitefront geese were showing well also 3 greylag, 4 oystercatchers, 4 shelduck and 3 little ringed plovers. 26 dunlin passed through the reserve. Among other birds seen were 5 (singing) chiffchaff, 2 willow warbler, 3 goldcrest, 1 treecreeper, 2 bullfinch, 1 jay and 33 fieldfare. 2 bramblings were seen (decreasing from the c.50 we saw last week).
