SICK BIRDS
It would seem that from Mark Wilsons blog and the comments attached that other people other than Mark are noicing birds that look unwell on the feeders. it may be a good time to ask or remind bloggers or any readers, to clean and disinfect there feeders and bird baths on a regular basis , more so if they notice a sick bird. This might not stop the pread of any disease but may possably go a long way towards that end.
