Mealy (common) Redpoll @ Ceri Forest

Myself and Marc Hughes spent most of the morning up in Ceri Forest, where there was lots of bird activity - the highlight up there was a Meally Redpoll amongst 250+ Lessers!

If Accepted, it will be the first confirmed record for the county!!

Other birds included, 100+ Bramblings, 80+ Crossbills, 100+ Siskins, 8+ Tree Pipits, 15+ Wheatears (a handful of them we the larger Greenland race!) 1 Redstart, 1 Goshawk, 1 Sparrowhawk and 1 Red Kite.
