Golden Plovers, Carno

Sorry this post is a bit late, but I want to share this print of some Golden Plovers I've been watching at a spot above Carno (apologies for being vague about location).

Yesterday I counted 26 GPs, many in full summer plumage. I have regularly seen these birds in the same location during Autumn and Winter over the past 3 years but this is the first time I've been around to see them in Spring. I would be interested to know any thoughts on whether these birds could be breeding in the region or are they on passage?
