Llyn Coed y dinas and Redkite
The three Oystercatchers chicks seem to be doing well. Young Rabbits were busy popping in and out of the burrow in the gravel wall.A single Greylag was with the domestic geese, and the Great Crested Grebe are still sitting on the nest.
It was very pleasing to have a Redkite low over the house, we are more used to Peregrine and Buzzards! We are still visited by a pair of Siskin on the feeders.
I make no excuses for including a picture of the display of wild flowers on the first island.
