A pair of little egrets still showing well this afternoon.whilst green and common sandpipers flitted about nervously. the great crested grebe ckicks are still growing well, although they still seem reliant on the parent birds.other birds present this afternoon were:- canada geese, mallard, tufted ducks, teal, coots, moorhen, cormorants, heron, lapwing, house martins, sand martins, swallows, wood pigeon and a brief appearance of charlies domestic's which have increased in number again this year.

Have been away from birding a little longer than normal this summer, but thanks to all blogers i  have managed to keep in touch with whats happening. thanks guy's.

I don;t know if i've missed any details regarding the ospreys, but can anyone  let me know if we will be able able to follow there migation pattern on there way to africa and hopefully back , and if so where.
