Dyfi Osprey Project

Just a quick update - Einion has now covered over 900 miles since leaving the Dyfi last Wednesday. See map for his journey so far up to 3pm yesterday. By 10pm last night he was around 50 miles south of Madrid and 120 miles inland from Valencia. New website online soon so there will be more information on there. Both his brother and sister are still with us on the Dyfi and the osprey project closes a week today, September 12th.

    Thanks for the updates re Einion's progress Emyr. It's amazing to see his route, and to think that he instinctively knows the direction in which to fly. Found the video of his departure a bit of a tear jerker, but at the same time very exciting - guess you all probably had mixed emotions too. Really looking forward to the launch of the new website - when is it due? It'll be wonderful to follow the progress of all 3, once his brother and sister leave too. Look forward to catching up a bit more at Sunday's barbecue - certainly plenty to celebrate!
