Dolydd Hafren 16th October
This morning at Dolydd, 6 Whooper Swans (2 ad, 4 juvs) flew in and landed on the river before being disturbed by canoeists. They then flew off in the direction of Newtown. 2 Wigeon, 2 Kingisher, 1 Water Rail (from 2nd hide), female Brambling in amongst a growing finch flock and a late fem/juv Redstart being the best of the other birds.
