COED-Y-DINAS

First visit to Coed-y-Dinas for some time. 18 species seen, those of note being:- 3 Pochard (m). and a (f) Goldeneye Showing well right in front of the hide. The feeders were also busy  with tits and chaffinches. whilst on the ground below the feeders a pair of voles were making the most of the droped nuts and sunflower seeds.Green Sandpipers still presentand, four Herons chased each other around the pool whilst a 5th watched on from it's perch in the oak on the large island.  Just before leaving a flock of 46 Lapwings droped in followed shortly by approx 40 Teal which brought there number up to around 115.
