LLYN CYD
A visit this morning brought a sighting of a warbler type species that i did'nt recognise. it was reed warbler size, with a light grey supercilium that ran into grey ear patch, greyish white breast, pinkish orange legs and a fairly pointed beak. I had to pop into charlies store after the visit and managed to have a chat with Paul who was hopping to spend his lunch hour at Llyn Cyd, to see if the bird was still present.Have looked through all my books and spent some time on the PC, but the only bird that iv'e seen that resembles it is a Cetti's warbler. given the time of year etc, is this possible. has anyone else seen this bird or any ideas what it might be. Any thoughts welcomed.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteThere has been a wren dashing into the reeds at the front of the hide for a few days now. The bird you describe fits the ground feeding Dunnock.
Hey don`t shoot the messanger - lol
