Redkite over Coed-y-dinas this morning, also single female Goosander, several Wigeon and Teal, Tufted, Mallard, Cormorants and two Heron. A lone Buzzard over main road area.
At least one Long Tailed Tit nest can be seen in hedge between road and path leading from hide.
For those interested in this great reserve it would pay to read the back page of the latest 'The Otter' regarding a potential new hide at Coed-y-dinas. My comments have been forwarded to Tammy, as have Kevin's I believe.
May I take this opportunity in wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas and great birding in 2012.
