`Red Kite`

Hi All

Just returned to Manafon, following a christmas spent in the West Midlands. At 13. 00hrs today I was driving with my wife through Berriew in horrible rain when we saw a beautiful `Red Kite` soaring only 500 yards from the village. Tits, chaffinch, Robin, and Goldies are all using my feeders at Moat Farm on a regular basis. I had a ride over Cefn Coch and the quarry late on, a flock 50+ flew over me in a`tight` formation, they were considerably smaller than Starling and probably winter finches.
Regards
Trevor Rogers
