Red Kites at Forden

Observed three Red Kites circling around Chirbury Road junction on north east side, there appeared to be a sheeps carcass not far away on the hill. May be worth a quick look tomorrow am in case more arrive, if your in that area.

2 Raven this morning top Redbank and a Sparrowhawk this afternoon.

Coed-y-dinas reserve has a flooded area at lower gate, so take wellies! The photo enclosed shows the flooded area just to right of Oak on large island. I did not get the Scaup!

  1. RKs seem to be getting more common around Welshpool/Leighton - before Christmas drove out to Leighton from the Welshpool tip - 2 RKs sitting in the tree overhanging the road - by time I stopped of course they were off!
