BURGESS CROFT

Just about to go into the house from the garden just after 4.30 when i heard gulls calling.at first i had a job to see them .but when i managed to spot them it was a large group of Black Headed Gulls.500 to 600.they were flying so high that evan with the bin's they looked small. Estimate that they were flying at between two and two and a half thousand feet.

    Wonder if their the same Gulls as seen at CYD today Kevin.Must have been quite a sight!

    The gulls did set off at around that time although, not as many as that. They were spooked by what I think was a sparrowhawk (just saw a raptor disappear into the trees left of the hide).
