LLYN COED-Y-DINAS




The two Redshank were on the left hand side but flew off from the reserve later. Also seen 2 Shelduck, a pair of Wigeon, 2 Great Crested Grebe, Little Grebe, Pochard, Tufted, Teal, a few Lesser Black-back Gulls, Heron, Lapwing, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Dunnock, 2 Wren, single Long Tailed Tit, Black-headed Gulls, Cormorants, Canada Geese etc.
A Red Kite flew very low over the ground on Charlies field, and a pair seen circling over car park and near bypass later.

    Brian. Good to see you managed a sighting and photo of the Redshank. Considering the light today you've done pretty well.

    Couldn't let you down Kevin. Forgot to put Common Snipe down on the list.If anyone sees the two Snipe perhaps they could mention it on the blog, I have a horrible feeling that one has disappeared.
