Llyn Coed-y-dinas in the rain

I was thinking of selling my Canon 1D mk3, and thought that some up to date shots would be worth while showing to buyers. These were taken in filthy dark wet conditions with the 500mm and 1.4x, well cropped and at 400 iso equiv.  The camera has produced lovely tones, so I've decided to keep it, unless of course someone comes up with the right price! So chech your disused equipment before selling, you might be surprised how good they are.

  3. You probably did the right thing and visited the reserve in the afternoon Phil, I think the Reed Warbler may come out when a mate arrives. It goes for any other bird on the reed bed.

Don't be greedy Mark you've already got one!
