Scrubby bracken slope birds

Went out in an attempt to count fritillary butterflies this afternoon, but it was decidedly quiet on that front....So decided to note a few birds. Mostly at Figyn common near Cyfronydd, and another nearby scrubby bracken-sloped common. Treated to great views of tree pipit and it's song-flight, and couple of pairs of Linnet showing really well (though my camera was still not up to the job), several redstart about and loads of willow warbler, chiffchaff, blackcap, a couple of swallows up above, as well as buzzard, tawny owl, raven, blackbird, carrion crow, great spotted woodpecker, nuthatch, robin, wren, long-tailed tit, wood pigeon, great tit, blue tit, goldfinch, chaffinch (and a jackdaw sitting on the back of a horse - presumably gathering hair for nest?)
