Mark looks like we had similar ideas. I called into the Lakeside Hide and TWO PF were giving excellent views. Unable to `sex` them but a `pair` indeed. Prior to this I stopped at the Old Village picnic site where a Willow Warbler was flitting and singing it`s heart out. A friendly Robin appeared, it was so tame I was able to put all suggestions into practice including `fill in flash, due to the poor light I was using an ISO of 200 A stop at Pont Nogal next to the Vyrnwy produced a nice pair of Goosander, I found myself rushing my shots but at least I have a `record shot`
As I continued around the lake I saw two female Goosander together with a pair of Canadas. I was told an `Otter` was seen at around 10.0am from the Centenary Hide.
As I returned towards `Can Office` and prior to joining the main road a Buzzard threw itself into a roadside grass bank on my offside with it`s wings outstretched, as I drew level only feet from the bird it flew in front and over my car carrying a small mammal in it`s tallons.
