Spent the Morning hoping for the Kingfisher and Sandpiper and neither were happy to oblige although the Kingfisher had been seen on the perch closest to the hide and the 2 Sandpiper where just to flighty, Plenty of Reed Warbler about though and Sand Martins checking out the bank, Sedge Warbler heard but not seen. Also and the highlight of my day were 3 Otters fishing by the Weir see http://midwalesnature.blogspot.co.uk/

Fantastic ref the otters! Presume shots taken from the 'beach'?
ReplyDeleteYeah from the beach Mark it was hard enough getting the dippers with the light down there but today was just crazy not a cloud in the sky for once, just typical
ReplyDeleteTorn now for tomorrow between better stonechat pics - want action! - and the weir! Can be a bit glarey down there so you done good!!
ReplyDeleteproblem with the otters Mark is you can't guarantee where they are going to be, they seem to be the same playful otters I filmed back in October and that was down the river on Vaynor so they obviously have a large stretch of river, but if you don't try you won't know!
