L C y D morning Sat 05.05.12.

Due to work I have been O o C for a couple of days. Returned Friday evening and at 18. 30hrs I had a delima, do I get some shopping from Welshpool Tesco - or call in the hide at fading light. I chose the `shopping` and so missed out on the Common Tern - derrr. However as I returned to Tesco car park my first Common Swift flew over my head towards Boys and Boden.
Called in the hide this morning - the Warber was warbling and the Oyster Catcher was catching. I had a brief visit from a male Reed Bunting and 3 First Year Lesser Black Backed Gulls circled in front of the hide without landing. Also present were approx 60 House Martins. 3 Adult Lesser Black Backs, and a total of seven `kittens` appeared from the Burrow to the left of the hide.
And yes - it was `cold`
