Shorties near Llanerfyl

Pair seen hunting moorland again this evening. Fingers crossed these birds are, or will stay around to breed!!


Other birds of note included 3 Whimbrel (still!!) and 2 male Cuckoos.

    Brilliant news and photo. We saw two male cuckoos up beyond Glas Lyn. The one was huffing and calling and seemed to be displaying/tail wagging to the other. At least I think they were both males. We watched them for almost 20 minutes at close quarters.
