Numbers in the Garden

Have spent most the day observing the garden and have noticed a lot of birds that I usually don't have, I usually just have Blue Tit, Great Tit, House Sparrows, Goldfinch and Siskins but now I am also getting Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Redpoll, Coal Tit, Song Thrush and Blackbirds. I think the Blackbird and Thrush are after the frogs that are slowly leaving the pond see  http://midwalesnature.blogspot.co.uk/ for them, but can not explain the sudden increase of other birds, My only thought can be maybe my neighbours are no longer filling their feeders and so mine is getting used more, Has anyone else noticed this? or has a other explanation?

  1. Plenty of birds visiting feeders Phil, nothing special apart from occasional Siskin, but no Redpoll. The Curlew are calling in nearby fields as are the Peregrine.
