Between Carno and Clatter on a beautiful autumn morning looking across the meadows to a line of Rowan trees produced Fieldfaire (10+) Redwing (5+) and Blackbird looking like they are visitors from over the seas, with a darker mandible and very shy in appearance. High above and moving through were Swallow (10+) and Hse Martin (5+). A female Goshawk flew over Allty y genlli Wood, other birds of note there were a flock of L T Tits (20+) Chaffinch (20+) Crossbill (10+) Lesser Redpoll (10+) and a flock of Tits included Blue, Great, Coal and Willow. A Little Owl was at an undisclosed farm site while in the barn a Tawny Owl has taken up a winter residence in the Barn Owl box.
