Coed y Dinas

Three birds that were present mon.1st. pm. Lesser Scaup or Tufted Scaup cross. the three were female, one had large white facial marking, Whilst on the other two the facial white was no so prominent. they spent the time i was there on the far side of the pool, so was unalbe to note any other features such as their beaks for recognition. Has anyone seen these birds. To help put me out of my (misery). Never like to be unable to recognise a bird!!

Kingfisher had a quick flash acros the pool, And just after 3.00pm 11 Swallows had a quick feed of insects before moving on. Whilst several House Martins  seemed content to stay the whole time i was there, going back and forth towards Charlies stores.
