More From The Garden
A little quieter than yesterday, despite a screeching pass of a Peregrine over Monty around 10am. Still plenty of Fieldfare about. We had a new bird in the garden, I believe its a female male Reed Bunting (thanks Brian!); record shot taken through the kitchen window at a distance.

ReplyDeleteThanks Brian! The post has been updated. I've been studying the bird identifier book, and the most striking difference appears to be that the female has a white stripe going from the eye to the back of the head, whereas the male doesn't in winter plumage.
