Dolydd Hafren

Visited for  few hours this afternoon.  A single Goldcrest in the hedgerow after the first field.  Good numbers of Chaffinch with a few Bramblings amongst them seen at the far end of the reserve.  Many thanks for pointing out the Cetti's Warbler!  Sadly wasn't able to get a picture of it.  In front of the second hide there was a badger carcass which made a good meal for these Ravens.

  1. Gruesome but grand shot - badger washed down in the floods I suspect

  2. A tad gruesome, but one animals loss is another animals gain.
