Pwll Penarth

Promising start at the reserve this morning; 6 Bullfinch (2M/4F) in the surrounding trees with the  Reed Buntings showing well.  Things quietened down after this, for the 5 hours spent in the hide, there was a brief appearance from the Water rail and a Little Grebe.  Things were getting a bit chilly by this time, so leaving along the river, the Catkin laden trees were filled with Siskin (~30), well worth the time spent!
