ReplyDeleteWhere is the usual place? could I have a grid rfef please
ReplyDeleteExplorer 214 864894 where the Avon Biga nears the Clywedog resevoir on it's north west arm. There's an open area of cut off forestry and a short hard core access road leading into it from where it's usually seen perching and hunting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that. will have a look next weekend. Meurig
DeleteThanks Eryl - hope to get up there soon. Good to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteBear in mind though it does use more than just that one small patch of clearfell - indeed the bird has been seen pretty much up the whole length of Cwm Biga so you need to be a bit lucky (as I was a couple of years back - only took 4 days to get a picture!) - but if you're not there you'll never see it anyway will you??
