LCyd

Quite an overcast day, but thought I'd try my luck with a few hours at the reserve.  There was a single drake Shoveler on the far side, not sure if there was a female or not, hard to judge at that distance with poor light. Other birds seen include: Teal, Tufted Duck, Song Thrush, Blackbird, Teal, Canada geese, Greylag geese (also a few hybrids), Coot, Moorhen, Mallard, Lapwing, Heron, Jackdaw, Wood Pigeon, Mapgie, Carrion Crow, Starling, and a lone Cormorant.

  1. Very nice Edward. The lighting seems to have been really nice even if overcast. The level of the water seems to be going down too.

  2. Thanks Brian, the light was soft and good for getting detail, just had to wait until they were stationary to get anything sharp!
