Lcyd

Visited around 6.30pm - 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Sandpiper, Plenty of Black headed gulls making plenty of noise.  2 Mallards with chicks (1 of 6 chicks & 1 of 4), 2 Black backed gulls.
Stayed for around an hour and saw the B/backed gull attempt to take a mallard chick on several occasions  whilst being chasing & dived on by the B/ headed gulls. Female Mallard also defended on 1 occasion.. On walk back to car saw Wren, Robin and a Blue Tit entering the green nest-box by the stream
