Another pigeon gone!


The juvenile Sparrowhawk killed another pigeon this afternoon just outside the kitchen door, after feeding for some time it flew off allowing the mess to be cleaned up. The carcass was thrown onto the lawn where the bird came back some time later to finish its meal.

Hand held 910mm equiv. lens through double glazing, so quite pleased with result.
