Blackcap - Montgomery

The birds in our garden our are taking full advantage of the apple trees.  We regularly have 15 or more Blackbirds feeding in the trees and on the ground; they make wonderful short calls to each other when they get together in numbers.  The apples also attract Blue Tits, Song Thrush, Fieldfare, Starling, and over wintering Blackcap (photographs taken 13/12/1014).

  2. Well done Ed-we have Tesco's finest apples stuck on the tree and 6/7 Blackbirds , but nothing so exotic as Blackcaps/Fieldfares!
