BURGESS CROFT. AM

early morning brought good sightings of migrant thrush .  40+ Fieldfare, 6 Song Thrush and  17 Blackbird (all of which seemed to be males). feeding on sorbus and catoneaster berries, whilst increasing numbers of Starling were taking advantage of the feeders in the garden. making swift work of the fatballs as i put them out.

    Hardly a Starling seen here Kevin, must be the feed your putting out! Great Fieldfare sighting.
