REDPOLL
Looking at this mornings photo's noticed this repoll that
has a very white breast running into the rump. i've only seen
them with their breasts looking pale buff /greyish in appearance.
Any info would be appreciated.
Hi Kev - Redpoll are notoriously variable. The brown tinge to the wingbars in both birds pictured identify them as Lesser Redpoll. Nice to see some blue in the sky even if it is only your greenhouse cover...
