Hafren Osprey nest.

What has been done to the Osprey Nest tree in Hafren forest. The top has been cut off and a metal framework fitted to the cut top, with what looks like a bit of straw and twigs half filling the Basket?Will be very interesting to see if the Ospreys use the site again, and who will hold their hands up if they don't.

    Probably the same people who risked life and limb to put a platform up to encourage the birds to nest there in the first place!! I hope they get to hold their hands up when they do return.

    I agree that there could have been a bit more filling in the metal basket though, I could see daylight through the bottom the other day!!
