Having enjoyed Mark's photographs below, I can only congratulate him. And to give a measure of balance, can I suggest that my image is much more typical of what to expect!
However, the Kingfisher is performing well, and Water Rails are recorded daily. Pochard are present, after an absence of 2 winters.
The Bittern disappeared from view most of day. Three Water Rail were seen by some visitors.
ReplyDeleteJust hope other important birds are not ignored. Plenty of Common Snipe and at least 50 Greylag arrived.
