Colour ringed Newtown Waxwing.

At least 15 Waxwings along railway at Newtown College this morning; One of which was ringed silver over blue on left leg.

  1. Hi Meurig, that bird has been ringed by the Mid Wales Ringing Group. I don't suppose you got the combination from the other leg (or have a photo showing the last two numbers of the metal BTO ring)? We have ringed 12 birds so far in Radnorshire this year, but all of them have the same combination on the left leg, then two different colours on the right leg.
    Thanks
    Paul

  2. Brilliant, thank you. Even just one of the colours on the right leg might help.
