Spring migrants and an Adder

My morning hike from home took me over the summit of Moel-y-Golfa and down the south face of Middletown Hill. Highlights included Tree Pipits, Redstarts, Pied Flycatchers and a Peregrine, but this Adder took me by surprise! It was only my 4th sighting here in 39 years.

  1. What a lot of treats all in one walk Simon. You did well to photograph the adder before it disappeared.
