Cuckoo in Welshpool

Natalie Bass from Christ Church, Welshpool reports hearing a Cuckoo in the town yesterday; and there was one in Trewern during the last week. Len Lewis had one by Guilsfield a month ago. Are these unusual reports due to the quieter environment? Or perhaps we all have more time to notice and record wildlife we might otherwise ignore.....

    Individual Cuckoos calling in 3 locations within easy walking distance of Guilsfield.
