This recently fledged Pied Flycatcher has been a regular on this rock in mid-stream in the last two days. Since the stream forms the border with England, it is in no man's land. We have seen it on the Shropshire side, but not yet where we would like it, in Montgomeryshire! It may be from a nest on Moel-y-Golfa, less than a mile away. Thanks to Clare for the photo.

Great stuff-strange , we have plenty of Pieds around , but one is extremely lucky to see a juv-they seem to vanish into thin air!
