Green woodpecker/Peregrine

Green woodpecker by Newtown and a Peregrine which Ive always wanted to shoot in a dive with shutter low to get the sense of speed, both taken in last few weeks

  1. Great pics David. The woodpecker is a juvenile male - it has spots on mantle and cheeks (all juvs), and a red malar stripe (male only).
