Redshank in June


Thanks to Ruth Jones MacLennan for this photo of a Redshank, in potential breeding habitat near Llyn Mawr MWT Reserve (near Clatter). It was regularly seen there for a few days from 15 June. Intriguingly it is in an area where Redshank used to nest - though this year only one bird was ever seen and no alarm calls were heard.
