During 5 hours at Pwll Penarth today, I frequently heard Cetti's Warbler and Water Rail. However, I was busy cutting willow and generally helping Rob and other MWT volunteers restore the reserve, so there wasn't time to search for them. I was more successful with Salmon leaping at the weir, (though failing to reach the top). The reserve is looking wonderful, with the first hide now mended and the paths wide and clear. What a pity there's a two-week lockdown!
