Flashback to summer

Yellow Wagtail is a scarce visitor to Montgomeryshire, preferring damp meadows and rough cattle or sheep pasture. Thanks to Andy Knight for the pic (from Bacheldre, near Churchstoke). He says, "there were at least two pairs here this summer, the last sighting as late as mid Oct. We’ve only lived here three summers, and they’ve been present every year. They regularly frequent the garden and roof. Afraid I haven’t got any smart equipment!" Never mind Andy, it's a great record shot.

  1. Nice one - must nip along next summer given it's only 5 mins down the road from me in Sarn
